TRAINING SPECIALIST

Creating concepts, strategies and guidelines for new and existing courses; Developing, review and revise training materials that support specific learning objectives; Researching regulations to ensure that current policy and procedures are cited in all training materials; Conducting validity and reliability studies and surveys courses over a broad specialty area or cluster of courses; and Identifying and preparing solutions to problems concerning such issues as training courses content, training materials and similar concerns. You qualify for the GS-12 grade level if you possess one year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the federal service, performing duties such as:
Developing training scenarios supported by slide show presentations with animation and sound; Assisting in preparing practical exercises and situation exercises for off-site and institutional training; Assisting in identifying, collecting and arranging all materials required when conducting validation of training materials; and Recommending solutions to problems concerning such issues as training courses content, training materials and similar concerns. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Current or Former Political Appointees:
The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) must authorize employment offers made to current or former political appointees. If you are currently, or have been within the last 5 years, a political Schedule A, Schedule C, Non-career SES or Presidential Appointee employee in the Executive Branch, you must disclose this information to the Human Resources Office.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
