Loan Exception Transaction Rep

## Job Description
This position is responsible for all Monetary Transactions including payment and payoff processing, reversals, loan reconciliations, proof of various General Ledger Accounts and internal deposit accounts. Also responsible for monitoring various loan reports for transaction exceptions such as Unposted, Negative Balance, PCL and a variety of other functions including research and mail distribution.
JOB DUTIES
Process all loan transactions including payments and payoffs. Balance each batch, complete the appropriate GL entries. Prepare all overpayment and discharge fee checks. Prepare insurance rebate checks for paid IC loans. Process reversals for ACH returns and returned checks.
Review assigned reconciliations on a daily basis to ensure all problems are corrected, identified and cleared. Balance assigned General Ledger and checking accounts set up for internal processing.
Research and analyze each exception item to ensure proper action is taken. Process correction based on result of analysis.
Process unposted items based on account level analysis. Review and refund credit balances on lines of credit. Maintenance bills and process monetary transactions for identified PCL accounts.
Support internal departments on researching various monetary activities.
Monitor various group emails to identify, distribute and process various requests from branch and internal personnel. Record, distribute and process incoming overnight mail transactions.
Distribute departmental mail in a timely manner.
## Job Requirements
Strong working knowledge of Financial transaction processing and General Ledgers.
Strong PC skills, including Microsoft Office and internal banking software. Ability to learn and use new applications as needed.
Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
Ability to manager multiple priorities and maintain an high level of accuracy in a multi-task environment.
Ability to work in a team environment.
