Job Description:
Our enrollment team works directly with the providers participating in the Green Mountain Care network. This community includes physicians, dentists, therapists and other medical professionals. As part of this team, you will process new provider enrollment and re-certifications applications, verify professional credentialing and answer questions the providers may have as they complete each process. You will also be responsible for maintaining all provider-related data in our in-house system.
Responsibilities:
Answer provider questions received by phone or email.
Review re-certification and new enrollment applications to confirm completeness.
Follow all departmental procedures.
Maintain and update filing and database systems.
Open and sort mail.
Complete tasks, assignments and defined processes with some level of independence.
Participate productively as a member of the team.
Multiple assignments worked and completed simultaneously as directed by leadership.
Identify, prioritize and resolve most questions and issues independently.
Comply with contract requirements, business unit rules and related industry and legal regulations.
## Qualifications
_Education and Experience:_
High School Diploma or equivalent. Prefer that you have at least one year of college.
3 or more years of customer service experience.
Experience in the healthcare industry a plus.
A minimum of three years' experience with Microsoft Word and Excel is required.
Filing and mail handling experience.
_Knowledge and Skills:_
Office administrative experience and skills.
Ability to follow written policies, procedures and guidelines.
Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
Self-motivated with good time management and organizational skills.
Ability to read and interpret basic to moderately complex documents such as operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and government/healthcare guidelines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and customer service skills, including professional telephone skills.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
