A Waste and Recycling Company in Williston VT is looking for an Operations Manager.
The Operations Manager is responsible for the oversight of collections activity, container delivery and pickup for industrial, residential, and commercial customers.
Other responsibilities include managing a large team of dispatchers, drivers, and other workers.
Responsibilities:
Overseeing personnel needs of the department.
This includes selecting, coaching, disciplining, and training employees as well as evaluating employee performance.
Also provides input into termination, compensation, and promotion decisions.
Ensures effective safety and accident prevention programs.
Implements and executes plans to complement the business unit's strategic and operating plan within the Business Unit to maximize the customer experience, growth and durability, while optimizing profitability Adheres to operating standards and manages labor hours to ensure maximum productivity and route management systems for commercial, roll-off and residential routes.
Establishing clear goals and objectives for team members and ensuring they are met.
Requirements:

Years of relevant work experience 5
Years of experience in transportation, logistics, or solid waste operations Experience with coaching, routing assessments, and leading employees Experience in environmental/sustainability field preferred Associates Degree Preferred High School Diploma required

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
