Summary:
A sterilization tech cleans and sterilizes used surgical instruments and other medical supplies so that they can be safely redistributed and reused on additional patients.
Duties/
Responsibilities:
Supporting clinical team through sterilization efforts Prepare instruments for assistants and doctor Assisting the doctor and other assistants as needed Support set up and breakdown of the clinic in tandem with rest of team Other duties as assigned Required Skills/Abilities:
Attention to detail and familiarity with patient software programs Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures Excellent interpersonal communication skills Education and
Experience:
Experience in a medical office or lab setting, Orthodontics preferred High school diploma or GED required.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
